SRGMs Tips
There are so many lovely things we see or are touched by in this world
and this section is dedicated to sharing those things with you.
Hopefully you will find them as magical and wholesome as we have!
Movie Recommendation
Srikanth (Netflix)
A fabulously made film about the grit and determination of a visually challenged person, Srikanth. We would recommend this for a slightly older child (5 yrs and above) as it gets a little complex towards the end (adult emotions, insecurity and the likes) but overall a delightful film based on a true story.

The SRGMs firmly believe that if our kids are exposed to the right content - it will help them not just grow their IQ but their EQ too!!

So if you have the time and if you must watch a movie, we highly recommend Srikanth and don't forget, have a discussion with your child about the movie - What did they feel? Faced with adversity, how would they react? Have they seen any physically challenged person and what did they feel?

A fantastic movie to trigger off further discussion and family bonding!

Nursery Rhymes
Good or bad?
Everything that little children learn is best absorbed and remembered when done on the back of music. And by extension of this fact, Nursery Rhymes are a super way for them to get a peek into the world around them.
They learn about themselves (Head, shoulders, knees and toes) or animals (Old Macdonald, Baa baa black sheep) or vehicles (wheels on the bus), getting hurt (Jack and Jill, Humpty Dumpty), insects (Incy wincy spider) and so much more!
The SRGMs truly believe that this is a fantastic medium through which they can learn, so when we hear discussions about the political correctness of the messaging, we would advise you to not read too much into it. Just know that a Nursery Rhyme is a sweet, simple song designed to be easy to learn and teach your children music and about the world around them - and that's exactly what they do!!
